See a list of available fellowships here.
Application guidelines are here.

Thank you and good luck!
Your friends at the Albright

The W.F. Albright Institute of Archaeological Research (AIAR) in Jerusalem is the oldest American research center for Near Eastern studies in the Middle East. Founded in 1900 as the AmericanSchool of Oriental Research (ASOR), it was renamed in 1970 after its most distinguished director and father of American archaeology in the region, William Foxwell Albright. For 116 years, the Albright has advanced its mission to engage in and facilitate research on the history and cultures of the Near East, to document and preserve evidence from the ancient world as a cultural resource, and to educate the public about the history and cultures of the region.

Each year, Albright Fellows, primarily from the United States, Canada, Europe, China, Israel, and Palestine exchange ideas with hundreds of other local and foreign researchers as well as with students and the public both in the US and locally. The Albright provides a wide range of programs and resources for doctoral and post-doctoral research. Programming includes anannual series of lectures, workshops, symposia, field trips, and social events. Resources include an extensive research library, access to physical and digital resources both on campus and at neighboring institutions, laboratories, storage facilities, community spaces, and living accommodations.
